Emma is a Los Angeles-based costume designer and CDG 892 illustrator. She has a BFA in film production and studio arts from Chapman University, and an MFA in costume design from UCLA.  This educational background has provided her with a strong foundation in clothing construction, sartorial history, traditional fine arts, and digital illustration .

While her work encompasses a broad range of mediums, styles, and stories, Emma’s creative approach is always rooted in empathy. Her character-driven designs and illustrations place an emphasis on storytelling, and give each character a breath of life through the clothing they wear.
